About Us -- Legal Defense Fund

The legal defense fund is a non-profit corporation developed by foster parents to protect them from any charges arising from allegations that may be brought against them. The Fund is established to defend against allegations of wrong doing, criminal prosecution and/or civil suit.

The Legal Defense Fund covers:

1. All Legal Defense Fund members
2. All biological children
3. All caregivers and/or Babysitters
4. All retired foster parents who have paid into the Fund
5. Any other family member who resides in the home.
6. All foster parents against past allegations

The CAS in your area has no jurisdiction over the Fund. This is a form of insurance that augments the coverage of most of the insurance offered by the CAS.
