Lifebooks are the responsibility of the social worker.
Lifebooks are important records of my foster child's life. I should always keep it locked up.
A Lifebook should only contain photos. Other artwork or special papers should be kept separately by the foster child.
A Lifebook can be a medium to help the child express his/her feelings about the past or present.
If the foster child moves, I should give the Lifebook to his/her social worker or make sure the new family is aware of it.
I should wait to start my foster child's Lifebook until he/she has settled in and adjusted to our family.
Children should be encouraged to do as much as is age appropriate to put in their Lifebooks together.
I should try to get pictures and information of the biological family personally or through the social worker.
If my child is not interested in making a Lifebook I should not do it. Lifebooks should only be made if the child wants to be involved.
In order to have a nice looking Lifebook it will cost a lot of money.
Lifebooks should be arranged in chronological order.
The child should never see their Lifebook until after they have moved to a new home.
